(“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we stand behind the quality of our innovative and durable kitchen gadgets designed to help you “Cook Smart, Tidy Fast.” Our goal is your complete satisfaction. This Refund and Returns Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions under which we accept returns and provide refunds for products purchased from our website, www.kitchentruckin.com.

Please read this Policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order, you agree to the terms herein. Please note that we do not offer refunds without the return of the purchased item (a “refund-only” option is not available).

2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Timeframe:‌ You must initiate a return request within ‌30 calendar days‌ from the date you received the shipment.
  • Condition:‌ The item must be in its original condition: unused, unwashed, undamaged, and with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact. Products showing signs of wear, use, or damage will not be accepted.
  • Proof of Purchase:‌ You must provide a valid order number or proof of purchase (e.g., email confirmation).
  • Non-Returnable Items:‌ For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, the following items are ‌FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged‌ unless they arrive defective or damaged:
    • Opened or used food storage containers, cutting boards, or any item that comes into contact with food.
    • Personalized or custom-made products.
    • Products purchased during a final sale, clearance, or marked as “non-returnable.”
    • Gift cards.

3. The Return Process (No “Refund-Only” Option)
We require the physical return of the item to process any refund or exchange. ‌We do not offer partial or full refunds while allowing you to keep the product.

Step 1: Initiate a Return Request

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization & Instructions

  • Our team will review your request. If your request meets our eligibility criteria, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed return instructions via email. ‌Do not ship returns without an RMA number.

Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return

  • Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging, including all accessories and manuals.
  • Clearly write the provided RMA number on the outside of the box.
  • Ship the package to the address provided using a traceable and insured carrier. We recommend you keep the shipping receipt. ‌You are responsible for the cost of return shipping and any associated insurance, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product).

Step 4: Our Inspection and Processing

  • Once we receive your return, our quality team will inspect the item(s) to ensure they meet our return condition criteria.
  • This inspection process typically takes ‌5-7 business days‌ after the parcel is received at our facility.

4. Refunds, Exchanges, and Store Credit
Upon successful inspection:

  • Refunds:‌ Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow ‌7-10 business days‌ for the refund to appear in your account after we have processed it. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Exchanges:‌ If you requested an exchange for a different item, we will ship the replacement once the return is approved. You will be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs.
  • Store Credit:‌ If you prefer, we can issue store credit for the value of the returned item(s) (minus shipping), which can be used for future purchases on www.kitchentruckin.com.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
We strive for perfection, but mistakes can happen. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Contact us immediately (within ‌7 days‌ of delivery) at ‌centesimistic@kitchentruckin.com‌ with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos/videos of the product and its packaging.
  • We will provide a prepaid return shipping label or arrange a carrier pickup at our expense and expedite a replacement or full refund, including original shipping costs.

6. Shipping Costs and Deductions

  • Return Shipping:‌ As stated, the customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
  • Restocking Fee:‌ Returns that do not meet our “original condition” criteria (e.g., missing packaging, signs of use) may be subject to a restocking fee of up to ‌15%‌ of the item’s price, or we may refuse the return and ship the item back to you at your expense.

7. International Returns
For customers outside Canada, please note:

  • You are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees associated with the return shipment.
  • We cannot mark return packages as “gifts” or with a reduced value.
  • The 30-day return period still applies from the date of delivery.
